Ross Lowndes: The forgotten man of Deeping cricket, Ross commanded  new respect last season as a second team all rounder adding catches to his runs and wickets. A big man and a powerful and determined fielder, some players have suggested that he needs to look where he's going. Saturday 2nd XI vice captain. RAB RAMMMF BXP, The Baston Express.

David Gillett:
Outstanding batsman and fielder who could still command a professional fee at other Lincolnshire Premier clubs. Thinks he can bowl seam up too. LHB RAM Lincolnshire Premier captain. Gilly or Gill with a hard G.

John McDougall:
A respected local star and former England indoor player, the mighty Macca still smashes the bowling straight down the ground. RHB. Macca.

Steve Windsor: Veteran batsman and very occasional wicketkeeper. The former Sunday 2nd team captain, welfare officer and occasional coach still thrives on the dressing room craic. LHB Welfare officer and Press/PR. Bald Eagle.

Alex Wheatley: Promising teenage all rounder who can certainly bat and may become a useful bowler too. Shed-loads of runs last season. Has to learn to stay awake in the field however. RHB RAMS Brillo Tweats Freddie

Richard Williams: Long distance runner and long distance batter too. Sunday seconds opener Rich never gives his wicket away easily, but we look forward to seeing more of of the searing cover drive. Excellent fielder. RHB Rich Sunday 2nd joint VC

Karl Green:  Now a first team regular Verging on an all-rounder, this medium fast bowler terrifies many second team batsmen with his pace and bounce then finishes them off with his mighty 3lb bat. Youth Coordinator RHM RHB. Senior or Big Green.

Josh Green: Trying to emulate his Dad, the young all-rounder has taken wickets and scored runs in senior cricket in the last few years. Can swing the ball on his day and hammer the runs (mainly square on the leg side). RHM RHB Green Dog

Jamie Morgan: Up and coming opening young bat and wicket keeper who will open the batting for our Lincolnshire Premier side this season. RHB

Michael Holden: Big lad who gives it a big whack. Will he ever add defence to the mix?  Can bowl a bit too. Sunday 2nd joint VC  RHB, RAM. Mikey

Ryan Hyman: A rarity - an young, intelligent cricketer and unusually competent fielder, Ryan bats very well, can keep wicket and bowls some filthy seam-up when asked. Great that he's going to be more available this season. RHB, RAM, Ryno

Dan George: Exciting young all-rounder with energy to burn, Dan is one of Deeping's best prospects. Had a good 2011 season with the ball. Needs more consistency to match huge promise.. RHB. RAM Danny Boy, Alfred

Jordan Roper: Another up and coming teenager who who gives the ball a real and consistent whack. Occasional bowler of lively medium pace swing that can go anywhere. Needs to temper aggression with solid defence and perk  up his fielding. RHB, RAM

Will Trotman: Former 1st XI scorer Will may one day lay claim to being  a decent all-rounder, but that's still in the balance. Will bats a bit (notably successful on bad park pitches in our Thursday night games); bowls quite quickly (needs to pitch it up) and fields somewhat erratically but often quite well, and scores beautifully... Good bowling figures last season. RHB, RAM Trotters, Statto

Andrew Tiplady: Tippers' slow stuff gives the Sunday 2nds' bowling more variety. Had a better season with the bat last year and his fielding is better than ever. RAS, RHB Tippers or Tealady.

Richard Pickering: Richard is one of our most improved wicketkeepers but is his batting going in the other direction?  RHB, RASM Pickers

Ross Barnes: A steady young beanpole of a bowler, Ross is threatening to become very tall indeed while still in his early teenage years. Ross will probably make a decent batsman too, all the qualities are there. Wouldn't like to be paying for his boots as his feet grow. RAB, RASM

Matt Rose: Phenomenally quick for a 14 year old and a decent left hand bat, and a top fielder, Matt struck the innings of the year on a rare 2nd XI excursion last year and took his first LPL wicket in 2011. LHB, LAMF Rosey
Lee Peacock: The club's favourite village idiot, father to a thousand malapropisms, a powerful middle order batsman, and when fit, a dangerous left arm not quite so fast as he was bowler.  RHB, LAMF Peaks or Peaky

Ali Sharp: Very much a product of the club, the rather injury prone Ali has played cricket successfully in Australia. A short but pacy fast bowler and aggressive late middle order bat. An outstanding fielder. Coming of age. RAM RHB Sharpy, (Tor)Pedo

Stuart Presland: Short and square, Stuart is a promising leg-spinner who will be asked to show a bit more promise and a lot more line and length this season. Turns it square when it pitches. Aggressive lower order bat. RHB, RAS Frodo

Tom Shinkins: Roly poly all-rounder in more ways than one, Shinks comes up with some startling performances, mainly when handed the ball by a desperate skipper. Smashes the ball to all corners - but mostly the corner called cow. RASM RHB Shinky/Rhino

Ben Rae: Dangerous seam bowler despite appearing to bowl off the wrong foot, Ben has cut frequent swathes through both upper and lower order batsmen in the right conditions. A big swinger of the ball who can sometimes bat miraculously well. RAM RHB . Sting, Swing, Sugar

Joe Pearson: Slow medium bowler who either takes vital wickets or gets absolutely pasted - sometimes both. Elegant low scoring batsman who sometimes hits the ball off the square. Britain's lightest fully grown cricketer. Sunday 2nd capt. RAM RHB Superstick, Benjamin (Button)

Nick Andrews: The club's senior player age wise and still fitter, slimmer and more successful than most. High scoring opening batsman in Saturday seconds and when fit (played on one leg last season) parsimonious dispenser of cutters and spin. RAS RHB Eamonn

Tom Andrews: First team all-rounder currently traveling from Berkshire, Andrews is an aggressive middle order batsman and fast bowler who invariably contributes with bat or ball and sometimes both. RAMF RHB. Tommy

Tom Anderson: Not to be confused with the other Tommy A, this one is a medium paced swing bowler, Tom has made the step up to first team cricket quite smoothly in the last couple of years. Probably should get more runs but that's increasingly difficult now he's sealed his place in the lower-order. RAM RHB Cups skipper Ando Angry

Ed Davies:
Bespectacled intellectual mild-mannered Ed has risen from scorer to regular run scorer as one of the most successful second team batters of recent years. A classic number six who combines aggression with careful smears for quick singles. RHB Saturday 2nd XI captain. The Duck.

Josh Bowers: The phenomenal young keeper/batsman is among the best at his age in the country, let alone the local cricket scene. Quite superb standing up to the bowling and his leg-side stumpings have won many a game from poor bowling. Batting is coming on nicely. RHB

Richard Witt: Richard has occasional strayed but always returned to the Deeping fold, and looks set to stack up the runs opening for the Sunday 1st XI and South Lincs 2nds. He'll also get wickets with his leg spin as he can turn a ball hugely on occasions. Deeping's champion sledger? Saturday 2nd VC RHB, RAS.Witto

Ryan Bainborough: Top ice hockey goalkeeper, Ryan shows great form with the wicketkeeping gloves. Cool but aggressive batsman. This season looks an exciting prospect. RHB, LAMS
